The Loyal Traitor Part 1 (Sonic Freebound)

Before the story of Sonic the Hedgehog there was a war between humans and mobians. 
In my continuity I called it The War of Up and Down, fought chiefly between the Acorn empire and the human Unifaction. I was asked to write a story about it so here's my attempt to start one! Like most of Sonic Freebound especially at this point I'm basically writing a story separate from previous Sonic games or even comics. Consider this a part of the expanded universe I guess. You'll probably recognize a lot of influences here and there from others things too.
